Internal auditing can be an effective way to improve a company’s food safety and quality system. The key to an effective internal auditing system is to identify general compliance to an external or internal standard, but to also verify effectiveness of procedure, program or system that is being audited.

Course Description

Our course provides attendees with the knowledge necessary to be an effective internal auditor by utilizing auditing best practices as defined by resources such as the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
The course instructor will also provide attendees with plenty of “real life” examples of auditing best practices and techniques within the food industry through class discussions and exercises performed throughout the training.

Employees with responsibilities in Quality, Production, Food Safety, HACCP, Auditing, Food Production, Supervisors, Maintenance, Safety and any other employees interested in achieving a better understanding of Internal Auditing and continuous improvement.
Internal Auditors often have an expanded knowledge base due to their involvement in auditing programs and procedures that they are not directly responsible for and are commonly a great source of information for a company.
